Solar and wind energy expert

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of rooftop solar and medium-scale solar and wind energy projects.
• Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for renewable energy projects.
• Support project planning, design, and execution, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including technology providers, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct site assessments and resource evaluations for solar PV and wind energy projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and regulations in solar and wind energy.
• Support the preparation of business cases and investment proposals for renewable energy projects.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of operational projects and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree in Renewable energy or a related field is preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in solar and wind energy project development, particularly in rooftop solar and medium-scale projects.
• Knowledge of solar PV system design, wind resource evaluation, and grid connection processes.
• Familiarity with energy modeling and simulation tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or WindPRO is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills in English and Azerbaijani (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in project implementation for rooftop solar PV systems.
• Familiarity with Azerbaijani energy regulations and permitting processes.
• Interest in learning and contributing to large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Ability to work independently in multiple projects
