Technical Professional - Process

Work Location: Baku

General Responsibility:

• To be a key member of the Process engineering team in Baku, by working on process engineering deliverables under supervision of more experienced engineers.

Specific Areas of Responsibility for the Project:

• To undertake process engineering tasks in the design of the upstream oil and gas production facilities:

1. Development of the process flow diagrams (PFDs) and heat and material balances (H&MB)
2. Carry out process modelling in industry standard software
3. Development of the Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and Line List (LL) via smart tools
4. Preparing process data for instrument and mechanical datasheets
5. Development of the master equipment list (MEL)
6. Carry out process design calculations
7. Use principles of Inherently Safer Design throughout the design
8. Design of the relief and disposal systems
9. Participation and contribution to safety reviews such as HAZOP and LOPA

• Work with other disciplines and project management towards the common goal of project delivery
• Be able to check others work and take responsibility
• Support younger engineers in their day-to-day tasks and development.
