Senior Project Engineer

Brief Job Description:

Oversee, analyze, and manage operating companies’ activities within E&P work scope in offshore oil and gas projects from pre-concept stage through to execution and operation. Monitor the closure of all identified risks in the risk register and proactively search for other areas in the project which may be a risk in the future and Lead the risk management activities in the Projects.

Job duties:

• Provide the lead of the project functions, overseeing the project activities;
• Lead engineering activities associated with the project management including, documentation, specifications, procedures, calculations, reports and drawings;
• Lead engineering expertise to all areas of the project, Feasibility, FEED, Detailed Engineering Design, Execution;
• Lead multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner;
• Ensure the project conforms to the applicable regulatory and code requirements;
• Lead the efficient delivery of the project within schedule, cost and quality standards;
• Lead in the identification and resolution of project issues at the earliest opportunity;
• Lead in the preparation of all project reports, interface definition and management.

Additional requirements (education, experience) provided by the group leader:

• BSc, MSc in Engineering or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years’ professional experience in the field
• Excellent understanding of Project Engineering requirements
• Understanding of the Capital Value Process.
• Ability to review technical reports with minimum guidance; Good IT skills using software
• Good capability of reading & understanding technical drawings, P&ID, PFD, diagrams, reports, and other technical documentation
• Good written and verbal communication skills of English
