P&M (Piping & Mechanical) Supervisor

The P&M Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the prefabrication and/or installation of piping spools, valves, gauges and other related systems. This individual will ensure that all work is performed according to established safety and quality standards while meeting project deadlines.

Job location: EU countries

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of pipefitters and welders, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development and success.
• Coordinate with project managers, site managers and engineers to plan and execute P&M-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall plant performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor and manage the P&M team's performance, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations to support their growth and development.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the P&M team.
• Supervisor must be able and willing to work as a foreman or pipefitter if required in special cases.

Requirements:

• Age 25-50 
• English language - fluent, Russian language is an advantage
• Must have driving license
• Minimum 5 years of experience in P&M supervisory role in oil & gas, petrochemical and other similar projects

Qualifications:

• Certificate or academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related technical field 
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Be familiar with isometric and similar piping and instrumentation drawings
• Be familiar with Non-Destructive (NDT) weld examinations.
• Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding solutions to complex issues.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
