Key details about the role and the candidate:
The Technical Integrity Manager will report operationally to the General Director and functionally to the Head of Technical Integrity. The candidate will oversee engineering and project work supporting operations in the Caspian area and manage the onshore base maintenance team.
We are seeking a leader with strong technical, supervisory, and communication skills, capable of managing maintenance operations and driving engineering excellence.
You and the role:
We are looking for a technically skilled, detail-oriented, and strategic individual with strong leadership abilities. You will need the expertise to manage engineering functions, ensure the maintenance of assets, and maintain high standards of technical integrity. The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of working independently and collaboratively, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Your role will also involve building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and driving operational efficiency while maintaining safety standards.
Primary responsibilities:
- Implement the KCA DEUTAG Drilling Group Management System Policies and Procedures for maintenance operations.
- Ensure the execution and periodic review of Engineering’s (RDS) Management System and Processes.
- Oversee Assurance processes for the management of Technical Integrity across assets.
- Review and improve the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Conduct regular rig visits and assess maintenance strategies to align with client requirements.
- Supervise the workload of Maintenance and Engineering Team Leaders, ensuring effective recruitment and competence development.
- Collaborate with clients for performance feedback and maintain effective liaison.
- Maximize Azerbaijani content in personnel, procurement, and construction activities.
Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience in a technical role.
- Familiarity with drilling equipment and maintenance strategies.
Behaviour and Skills:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational and strategic thinking abilities.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
- Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with relevant legislation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recognized Engineering Qualification/Diploma.
- General knowledge of Company Policies and statutory regulations.
