Junior Government Relations Specialist
Location: Baku, with up to 50% of domestic travel
Reports to: Government Relations Manager

Job Responsibilities
- Represent the company in negotiations with governmental institutions at local, regional and national levels;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in governmental institutions;
- Prepare and submit applications for governmental subsidies and grants relevant to agriculture activities;
- Ensure compliance with subsidy requirements and manage subsidy reporting obligations;
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to the State Statistics Department on agricultural production,employment and other relevant metrics;
- Handle insurance claims and reporting procedures related to agricultural operations.
What we want you to:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Public Administration, Law or a related field;
- Minimum 1 years of work experience in the related area;
- Previous internship or work experience in government relations, public affairs or a related field is desirable;
- Good written and verbal communications skills in Azerbaijani and English.
- Good knowledge of MS office programs (especially Excel);
- Ability to analyze legislative proposal and assess their impact on the organization;
- Networking skills to represent the organization in government and public forums;
- Capacity to build and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers and stakeholders.
