Key details about the role and the candidate:
This role will be part of the Supply Chain Team, reporting to the Procurement and Logistics/Warehouse Team Leader. The candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient logistics services, covering the functions of receipt, dispatch, handling, storage, disposals, and warehouse organization.
You and the role:
We are looking for a candidate who is organized, proactive, and a good communicator. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in logistics operations or customer service, along with knowledge of customs clearance, dangerous goods handling, and inventory management. Fluency in Azerbaijani is required, with an intermediate knowledge of English. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for logistics, eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and tracking shipments of final products according to internal and client requirements.
- Communicate with external parties to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
- Maintain and manage the delivery schedule, arranging same-day deliveries whenever possible.
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are in line with local and international Customs Regulations.
- Secure the fulfillment of operational needs in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Report any logistic issues or losses to the line supervisor and manager.
- Work to improve the flow of goods and information within the warehouse and supply chain in alignment with lean principles.
- Assist the warehouse team during peak periods or in the absence of key personnel.
Experience:
- Previous experience in logistics or customer service, especially in a similar role.
- Experience with customs clearance, handling dangerous goods, and inventory management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of logistics software and systems (e.g., SAP) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of international shipping regulations and Incoterms.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-discipline and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with company policies and legislation.
Minimum qualifications:
- Commercial education or equivalent experience in logistics.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, with intermediate knowledge of English (both verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management principles is desirable
