Head of Campus
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Head of Campus for our PreSchool International to join our team.
- Work alongside the Head of PreSchool and staff to develop a robust and evaluative programme of PreSchool Self;
- Work alongside the Head of PreSchool and staff to develop rigorous and sustainable PreSchool Development
- Planning;
- Identify needs and lead initiatives from the PreSchool Development Plan across the school;
- Work alongside the preschool leadership to develop, monitor and evaluate the role and responsibilities of
- the teaching and support staff as required;
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of the PreSchool;
- Stand in for staff in regards of duties as necessary;
- Deal effectively with behaviour management concerns referred by colleagues and non-teaching staff, and
- support them in maintaining agreed standards of behaviour;
- Plan and deliver high quality learning and teaching in line with the PreSchool’s ethos and policies;
- Support other colleagues in their roles as curriculum subject leaders, both by formal and informal
- discussions and willingness to share and promote new initiatives led by other staff;
- Conduct lesson observations and provide feedback;
- Be able and prepared to discuss with and present to the Head Teacher, both formally and informally, matters
- of curriculum, organisation and administration; bring to the discussions matters of staff concern and take
- back to staff matters of policy and planning which need to be disseminated
- Assist in ensuring the well-being of both teaching and non-teaching staff;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Board of Directors, attending meetings of the
- board as required;
- Take a lead role in solving problems with parents;
- Take a lead role in Admission Process for PreSchool.
Background:
- Bachelor degree is a must;
- 3+ years of experience;
- 1+ years of experience in educational management;
- Experience in working with Cambridge Program is a plus;
- Experience in working with Azerbaijani curriculum is a plus;
- Experience in working with parents;
- Knowledge of child psychology;
- English language knowledge (B2, C1);
- Russian language knowledge is a plus.
